Dear all, Sunday 3rd May - U13 Ballinger/Wendover Girls AWAY to Dinton CC, Oxford Road, Dinton, HP17 8TX – meet there for 9:15 a.m. and we’ll start when we can. Dinton advise they should have coffee & pastries if you arrive early enough/ from 9.00. It’s hardball & 10-a-side pairs and Dinton should be providing one player for us since we only have 9 (and they’ve advised 11). Batting & bowling orders will try and match similar abilities. Mia will ‘shadow’ umpire with me. Come prepared to play on the artificial pitch – no metal spikes – although you could be playing on grass, so plan for either option. The forecast isn’t great but you should assume it will be on. (If I know in time, I’ll try and alert you if it’s off.)
